Biography

2002-03: Granted medical redshirt after suffering season-ending knee injury in practice Dec. 4…started first four games, putting up 12 points in Nov. 19 win over Warner Pacific…had six points, three blocks and two rebounds in UAA’s win over Division I Eastern Kentucky in Great Alaska Shootout.

BEFORE UAA: Played two seasons at North Dakota State College of Science, where she earned All-MonDak Conference honors as a freshman and honorable mention MonDak as a sophomore…averaged 7.2 points, led team with 5.6 rebounds per game and set school record with 49 blocks as Wildcats went 21-9 in 2001-02 and placed second in NJCAA Region XIII Tournament...2000-01 squad won Region XIII Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior at Cambridge-Isanti High, won team MVP award after averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds per game to go with school-record 105 blocks...twice earned All-North Suburban Conference and academic all-conference honors...lettered three times in basketball and once in volleyball.

PERSONAL: Born Sarah Lorraine Kemper on July 16, 1982 in Pipestone, Minn….daughter of Ken and Karri Kemper...biological sciences major.
