2003-04: UAA's second-leading scorer (13.1 ppg) and the No. 13 scorer in the GNAC...broke UAA's single-season record for three-pointers made with 73 and finished No. 2 in career threes made with 177...ranked second in the GNAC and 10th in NCAA Division II with 2.81 3FG per game...finished 13th on UAA's all-time scoring list with 863 points, and 15th in games played with 99...earned All-Tournament Team honors at Great Alaska Shootout and was named Player of the Game in UAA's championship win over Clemson after posting 19 points (7-15 FG, 5-11 3FG), 6 rebounds and 2 assists...scored double figures in 18 of 26 games, including four times over 20 points...other top performances included 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-10 3FG) in a loss at NW Nazarene (Jan. 8); 18 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3FG, 4-4 FT) in a win over Central Washington (Jan. 15); 24 points (8-12 FG, 6-9 3FG, 2-2 FT) and 4 assists in a road upset of Western Washington (Jan. 24); and 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a win over Alaska Fairbanks (Feb. 28) in her final home game...broke the school record for 3FG attempts in a game with 15 (5 made) in the season finale at Humboldt State.

2002-03: Ranked fourth on team in scoring (9.2 ppg) and assists (1.8 apg)…led Seawolves and ranked fifth in GNAC in three-pointers made per game (1.84) ... finished season in a fourth-place tie on UAA's career three-pointers made list with 104 ... against Central Washington on Mar. 1, became the 27th Seawolf to accumulate 500 points in a career ... scored double-digits nine times, including season-high 18 points (5-7 3FG) in win at Cal State-Dominguez Hills ... other top games were 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3FG) in win at Saint Martin's; 12 points in Great Alaska Shootout win over Division I Eastern Kentucky; and nine points and six assists in home win over UAF.

2001-02: Shooting guard was UAA's top three-point threat (.346), ranking ninth in the GNAC in that category...ranked third on the team and 30th in the GNAC in scoring (9.3 ppg) ... finished her sophomore campaign tied for seventh on UAA's career threes made list (58); career .337 percentage ranks 10th ... scored in double-figures 14 times, including career-high 23 (10-13 FG, 3-5 3FG) vs. Lincoln Christian (Nov. 26) ... other top games were Jan. 19 at Alaska Fairbanks (17 pts, 6-10 FG, 5-7 3FG) and Feb. 28 against nationally ranked Western Washington (18 pts, 6-12 FG, 5-8 3FG, 4 stls).

2000-01: Scored six points in Seawolf debut Nov. 10 against Southern Oregon...had three assists and zero turnovers in Feb. 22 home win over Seattle University...excelled at the free throw line, nailing 9 of 10.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Anchorage Daily News second team all-state honors as a junior and senior...paced team in scoring (14.8) ppg as well in as assists and steals as a senior...led JDHS to back-to-back Region V titles as a sophomore and junior...honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Born Tanya Michelle Nizich (pronounced NY-zick) on April 9, 1982 in Juneau...daughter of Michael and Rosalie Nizich...natural sciences major.
