2000-01: Built her resume as one of the best ever to wear green and gold...the do-everything sensation was named First Team All-Pac West for the second time after leading the team in scoring (11.1 ppg), rebounding (9.7 rpg), assists (4.8 apg) and steals (2.7 spg)...she ranked among the Pac West’s leaders in almost every category — rebounding (2nd), offensive rebounding (2nd), steals (T-3rd), assist-to-turnover ratio (3rd), assists (4th), blocks (9th), FG Pct. (19th) and scoring (20th)...Massey’s season rebounding average (9.7) was the third-best in UAA history, and her career 9.0 rpg average ranks No. 2 all-time...her 130 assists ranked her fifth on the school single-season list and her 35.63 minutes per game was the second-most time ever logged by a Seawolf (Robin Graul, 36.68, 1988-89)...she also topped all Pac West women’s and men’s basketball players in grade point average with a 4.0 in nursing...Massey became the first Seawolf since 1984 to get 20 or more rebounds in a game when she grabbed 21 against Western Washington Feb. 15...in that game she also had 17 points, seven assists, four steals and hit the game-winning shot...she set her career-high with a 21-point effort in UAA’s win at Seattle University...her nine double-doubles gave her 17 in her two years, tying for No. 5 on the school career list...Massey recorded a double-double all five times she faced Central Washington in her career...she recorded UAA’s first triple-double in six seasons and third ever, going for 10 points, 10 rebounds and a career-best 13 assists against Saint Martin’s on Jan. 6...in the season-opening Southern Oregon series, she scored 29 points with 24 rebounds, 10 assists, five steals and two blocks...Massey shared Pac West Player of the Week honors for her performances against Western New Mexico (Jan. 25) and MSU-Billings (Jan. 27) when she scored 26 points on 10-for-14 shooting, and pulled down 19 rebounds to go with 14 assists and eight steals. She committed only two turnovers in 69 minutes in those two games...against Div. I Rhode Island in the Great Alaska Shootout she equaled her then-career high with 12 assists.
1999-00: A first team All-Pac West Conference selection after averaging 10.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game as a junior...tallied a team-high eight double-doubles, including three against Central Washington...earned PWC Player of the Week award for Nov. 29-Dec. 6 after scoring 32 points and grabbing 28 rebounds in a road sweep of Montana State-Billings and Western New Mexico...became the first player in school history to rank first or second in all eight major team statistical categories -- first in rebounding and steals; second in scoring, assists, blocks, FG pct., FT pct., and 3-point pct.)...moved into the starting lineup in early February...improved her play in conference games, averaging 11.2 ppg and 9.3 rpg...had 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in UAA's NCAA Tournament win over Central Washington...set a school record for steals vs. a Div. II opponent when she grabbed nine at Western Oregon...became the first Seawolf since 1994-95 to accumulate 300 points and 200 rebounds...her 245 rebounds were the sixth-best season number in school history...one of three finalists for UAA's Athlete of the Year Award.
BEFORE UAA: Played two seasons at Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah...one of the top players in the Scenic West Athletic Conference in 1998-99, averaging a double-double in scoring (13.6 ppg) and rebounding (10.1 rpg)...also ranked among league leaders in steals (4th, 3.3 spg), blocked shots (6th, 1.1 bpg), assists (13th, 2.9 apg) and free throw accuracy (76.4 percent)...earned team MVP and all-region first team accolades...as a freshman in 1997-98, started all 33 UVS games for a team that went 23-10 overall, averaging 7.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned eight varsity letters -- three in basketball, four in volleyball and one in track...earned all-region and all-state basketball honors her senior season.
