2003-04: Third on the team and 14th in the GNAC with 2.9 assists per game ... earned Player of the Game honors against Mount St. Mary's in Great Alaska Shootout with 11 points (3-3 FG, 5-6 FT), 7 assists and 2 blocks ... other top performances included 5 points (2-4 FG, 1-1 FT), 6 assists and 2 steals in 38 minutes in a win over NW Nazarene (Feb. 7); and 8 assists and 3 rebounds in a win over Central Washington (Jan. 15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Captured unprecedented three straight Alaska Small Schools Player of the Year awards from 2001-03 and was named first team All-State all four years at Ninilchik High ... helped Wolverines to 106-4 record over four seasons, becoming first Alaska girls team to win four consecutive state titles...averaged 20.1 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 6.0 steals per game in her senior season as NHS ran its overall winning streak to 73 games ... in 2003 Class 2A state tournament, averaged 22.3 points per game, including 28 on 9-of-13 shooting in the championship win over Unalakleet ... featured in May 5, 2003 issue of Sports Illustrated in "Faces In the Crowd"...also lettered three times in cross country and once in track ... 3-time academic all-region in cross country.

PERSONAL: Born Whitney Kara Leman on Nov. 29, 1984 in Homer, Alaska ... daughter of Jamie and Dan Leman ... father was high school coach...journalism & public communications major.
