Biography

2008: Posted team’s fourth-best bars average at 9.475, helping Seawolves set school record with 47.694 team average on apparatus ... bars average ranked 14th in school history ... scored 9.65 or better in last four bars routines, including season-high-tying 9.725 in win over Air Force (Mar. 14) ... other 9.725 on bars came against UC Davis (Jan. 27) ... competed in all 12 meets on bars and in nine meets on vault ... season vault high of 9.325 came in quadrangular meet at New Hampshire (Feb. 1).

2007: Bars average of 9.463 was second-best on team and 12th-best in school history ... scored between 9.375 and 9.6 on 11 of 12 bars routines ... added vault and floor to repertoire in latter half of season ... enjoyed top meet in home finale against Ball State with career-high 37.675 all-around, 9.525 vault and 9.1 floor exercise, plus season-high 9.5 on beam ... named second-team All-MPSF on uneven bars ... earned spot on All-MPSF Academic Team with 3.12 overall GPA.

2006: Contributed on vault, bars or beam in all 14 regular-season meets, including three times on all three events ... team’s third-most consistent bars worker with a 9.371 season average ... 9.75 bars routine at Air Force (Mar. 20) tied for 15th place on Seawolves’ all-time list.

2005: Worked bars in all 14 meets and saw action 11 times on beam ... tied for team season-high and 10th-best beam score in school history with 9.775 in a victory at Air Force (Jan. 28) ... posted five beam scores of 9.525 or higher ... season beam average of 9.357 ranked No. 16 in school history ... season-best 9.375 bars score came in season-opener at Maui.

BEFORE UAA: Recorded third-place finishes on vault and bars, sixth on beam and seventh in the all-around at the Illinois State High School meet as a senior in 2003, helping Barrington High to the state title ... broke Illinois state high school bars record with a 9.9 to earn Chicago Tribune Athlete of the Week award.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 22, 1985 ... daughter of Hank and Nancy Magiera ... theatre major.
