BEFORE UAA: Competed in gymnastics for nine years ... won state all-around titles at levels 4, 5 and 7, competing for Athletes in Motion gymnastics club ... level 8 regional qualifier and state floor exercise champion in 2005 ... earned spot on level 7 Louisiana All-Star team ... nominated for The (Baton Rouge) Advocate Athlete of the Year award in 2007 ... received The Advocate’s ‘Star of Stars’ award for sport of gymnastics in May 2007 ... lettered two years in track & field at Hosanna Christian ... listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
