Associate Media Relations Director Nate Sagan enters his 24th year at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2022-23.
In addition to general athletics communications needs for the Seawolves, he is the primary contact for the Seawolves' men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball and gymnastics teams.
After undergraduate work and internships at the University of Oregon and the University of California Berkeley, Sagan returned to his alma mater in 1999 and assumed head media relations duties three years later. He has UAA's associate media relations director since 2017.
The Kansas City, Mo., native earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism & public communications from UAA in 1997, and he is a 1991 graduate of East Anchorage High School. He is the proud parent of two daughters and one son.
