ANCHORAGE (Jan. 29) - Junior forward Dana Bottoms played her best all-around game of the season Saturday night to help the UAA women's basketball team to a 68-48 victory over Seattle University at the Sports Center. Bottoms had season-bests of 17 points and 11 rebounds to power UAA (14-4) to the non-conference victory.

Seattle U's Mandy Matzke had a game-high 18 points for the Redhawks (4-12), but was held to just 3-of-15 shooting.

Bottoms, from Eielson High School near Fairbanks, made 8 of 11 field goals, sank her only free throw attempt and dished out two assists in only 20 minutes of play. Junior forward Tiffany Massey had another big game with 13 points, nine rebounds and a career-high five assists.
