SEATTLE, Wash. (Jan. 19) - Ninth-ranked Seattle Pacific broke out quickly and shot 60 percent, blowing out the UAA men's basketball team 95-64 at Royal Brougham Pavilion tonight.
The Seawolves (4-12, 4-3 GNAC) got 18 points and 10 rebounds from power forward Peter Bullock, but SPU (15-1, 7-0) had all five starters score in double figures on its way to the win.
UAA trailed 45-19 at halftime after the Falcons shot 64.5 percent (20-for-31) in the first period.
SPU, which was led by Yusef Aziz's 17 points, set a school record with its 15th straight win.
UAA got 16 points on 3-of-6 three-point shooting from junior Cody Gallatin, and sophomore guard Nathon Glover tallied 12 in a starting roll.
The Seawolves return to Great Northwest Athletic Conference action Thursday at the Sports Center against Seattle University. Tip-off is 7:05 p.m. AST.
