COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. ? Senior Justin Bourne's shorthanded goal with 13.9 seconds remaining in overtime lifted Alaska Anchorage to a 5-4 victory over No. 9 Colorado College here tonight in Western Collegiate Hockey Association action at the World Arena.
Bourne's second overtime-game winner this season clinched UAA's first win at the World Arena in 17 tries and also ended UAA's 18-game losing streak overall to the Tigers at Colorado Springs.
The victory was the Seawolves second all-time in 29 meetings at CC (2-27-0) and the first on the road over the Tigers since 1996.

The Seawolves improved to 8-5-2 overall and 6-5-0 in the WCHA with their second league-road victory of the season, placing them into a fourth-place tie with Denver in the conference standings (12 pts.). CC fell to 10-6-1 and 7-4-0 in league play with the loss, its first on home ice in six games.
UAA shut down the Tiger power play, killing off all 10 CC man-advantage opportunities, including four in the first 20 minutes of play. The Seawolves connected on 1-of-5 power-play attempts and also scored two shorthanded goals ? their first of the season.
Goaltender Jon Olthuis was solid in his first WCHA start in net for the Seawolves stopping a season-high 44 shots, including thwarting 17 of 18 in the first period. The freshman, who was playing in just his fourth game this season, also collected an assist on UAA's first score.
