Alaska Anchorage, the furthest west college hockey team, will travel nearly 4,000 miles to Maine, the furthest east college hockey team, to open the season.
Series
Alaska Anchorage leads the all-time series with Maine 4-3-2, but the Green and Gold is win less all-time in Orono (0-2-2).
40th Anniversary
The 2019-20 season marks the 41st season for UAA hockey.
New Arena
The Seawolves will play all of its home games this year on-campus at the Seawolf Sports Complex. UAA played on-campus for the first four seasons of the program from 1979 to 1983. The Seawolves posted a 39-16-1 (.705) record during those four years.
Class Breakdown
UAA will have nine freshmen on this year's roster. The team will also feature six sophomores, seven juniors and six seniors.

This season, all 16 home games as well as the two road games at Alaska Fairbanks will be broadcast on CBS Sports 590 AM and 96.7 FM.
Coaching Staff
Matt Curley returns for his second season as head coach. Curley led Team USA U-17s to a runner-up finish at the Five Nations Cup in Germany in June.
Mark Phalon and
Matt Bruneteau return for their second seasons as assistant coaches under Curley.

Alaska Anchorage will host Alaska Fairbanks in the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Oct. 25 and 26 at the Seawolf Sports Complex.
