Tyrus Hosley exploded for a season-high 22 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3FG, 6-6 FT), along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists, while Sr. G
Jack Macdonald came off the bench with 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3FG) to help erase a halftime deficit and fend off a late CU charge ... Sr. F

UAA leads the GNAC in assists per game (21.1) and 3FGs per game (11.8), while ranking 2nd in scoring defense (70.2), turnover margin (2.20) and assist/turnover ratio (1.8) ... in the NCAA Div. II national stats, the Seawolves are 5th in assists, 7th in A/T ratio, 14th in 3FGs per game and 29th in turnovers per game ... the 11.8 3FGs per game are easily on pace for the second-highest average in program history, trailing only the 2013-14 squad's 13.0 3FGs/gm ... the 18 three-pointers in UAA's win over Coast Guard marked the 7th-most in program history against an NCAA opponent.

II currently shooting at least .500 from long range with at least 3.75 made per game ... the Beaverton, Ore., native leads the GNAC with 3.8 3FGs per game (12th nationally), along with ranks of 15th in scoring (13.8 ppg), 4th in 3FG% (11th nationally) and 8th in A/T ratio (3.0) ... Oggie Pantovic became the first Seawolf to tally at least 20 points and 13 rebounds since Corey Hammell posted 24 and 15 against Chaminade on Nov. 13, 2015 ... Hosley, from Northwest Christian, is the team's 3rd-leading scorer at 10.5 ppg and holds GNAC top-15 ranks in assists (7th, 3.7 apg) and A/T ratio (10th, 2.8), while his 4.1 rpg are 4th on the team ... from State College of Florida, Osuigwe is No. 2 in the GNAC with 5.0 apg, and has proven one of the best-rebounding guards in the league, grabbing 12 boards against WOU and ranking 17th with 5.5 rpg ... Hale, from Eastern Arizona, has delivered 27 assists and committed just 8 turnovers in 204 minutes for the 7th-best A/T ratio in the league.

TRUST IN RUSTY: Now in his 16th year at the helm, head coach
Rusty Osborne (287-168) has led the Seawolves to 14 straight seasons of .500-plus records, along with five NCAA Tournaments and a trip to the 2008 NCAA D-II Semifinals … the longest tenured coach in program history and in the GNAC, he became the first UAA basketball coach to reach 200 career victories when the Seawolves beat Alaska Fairbanks on Jan. 10, 2015 … Osborne captured his first career GNAC and NABC West District coach-of-the-year awards in 2008 after becoming the second coach to lead UAA to three consecutive NCAA berths (2006-08), and in 2011-12 his Seawolves posted a 24-10 record to equal the 2nd-most victories in program history; Osborne's 2007-08 club holds that record with a 29-6 mark … before taking over the head job in 2004-05, the Texas native previously served 13 seasons (1991-04) as a UAA assistant, including 11 years as the top assistant … the Seawolves have won over 60 percent of their games with Osborne on the staff, claiming four conference titles and eight trips to the NCAA Division II Tournament ...
