Zach Nazzarett scored his second goal of the season for Alaska Anchorage in a 4-1 loss at Northern Michigan Friday.
Griffin Loughran opened the scoring with his 17
th goal of the season for the Wildcats at 10:37 of the first period.
Taylor Lantz and
Eric Sinclair connected with Nazzarett who fired a low-angle shot on the powerplay past Nolan Kent at 14:07 of the opening frame.
Philip Beaulieu scored the lone NMU goal at 17:53 of the second period.
Garrett Klee scored at 9:08 of the third period, and Darien Craighead completed the scoring at 11:18.
Alaska Anchorage finished 1-for-4 on the man-advantage and held Northern Michigan scoreless on both of its chances.
The Wildcats finished with a slim 26-24 edge in shots.
Kris Carlson made 22 saves for the Seawolves.
UAA and NMU will close out the series Saturday.
