BOWLING GREEN, OHIO – Zach Nazzarett scored twice and Tanner Schachle and Luc Brown each tallied three points in a 5-4 overtime loss at Bowling Green Friday.
The Seawolves wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. Luc Brown's shot was stopped, but Rylee St. Onge scored off the rebound with a high backhander for his eighth goal of the season at 3:24.
The Falcons tied it up with a power-play goal at 12:29, but Zach Nazzarett regained the lead for UAA 58 seconds later.
Jacob Dalton scored his first goal of the season for Bowling Green at 17:38 to send the game to intermission tied 2-2.
Luc Brown collected his third assist of the game when he sent a pass to Zach Nazzarett on a 2-on-1. Nazzarett's goal at 2:52 of the second period was his sixth of the season.
Cameron Wright scored the second power-play goal of the game for BGSU at 6:49 to tie the game 3-3. The Falcons finished 2-for-3 on the man-advantage.
Will Cullen gave Bowling Green its first lead of the game, 4-3, with a break-away goal at 12:51.
With the extra attacker, Tanner Schachle scored the game-tying goal unassisted with only 29 seconds remaining in the third.
Alec Rauhauser scored the game-winner with a wrist shot at 2:14 of the first overtime to give BGSU all three WCHA points on the night.
Kris Carlson finished with 40 saves for UAA.
UAA was out-shot 45-30 and finished 0-for-5 on the powerplay.
UAA and BGSU will close out the series Saturday.
