ANCHORAGE – University of Alaska Anchorage student-athletes have continued to produce outstanding results in their studies, according to statistics released Wednesday by UAA associate athletic director of compliance and academics
Dede Allen.
For the recently completed Fall 2021 semester, 102 of the 132 Seawolf student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better grade-point average, including 35 with 4.0s.
The numbers for the 2021 calendar year are equally as impressive, with the group earning a 3.28 overall GPA for spring, summer and fall, including 20 perfect 4.0s.
Additionally, 11 of the 13 UAA squads maintained a 3.0-plus team GPA through the spring, summer and fall semesters, with the gymnastics team posting a department-best 3.71 mark.
