Tosi, Duffin lead Academic All-District hoopers

Five University of Alaska Anchorage basketball players have been honored for their outstanding work in the classroom as the College Sports Communications unveiled its 2025-26 Academic All-District Teams this week.

The Seawolves were led by a 3.88 overall grade-point average from men's senior forward Bishop Tosi, who will graduate this May with a double major in political science and communication. A local product from Bartlett High School, Tosi moves on to the national ballot for CSC Academic All-America status.

Junior center Lillee Duffin paced the UAA women's team with a 3.83 GPA in early childhood education.

Men's junior guard Zach Ibbetson (3.66, marketing) also earned CSC Academic All-District status, along with women's sophomores Kimberly Carrada Sanchez (3.50, marketing) and Mahaila Harrison (3.50, psychology).
