COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Maximilion Helgeson scored his second goal of the season for Alaska Anchorage in a 4-1 loss at Colorado College Saturday.
The Tigers opened the game with two quick goals, both on the rebound, in the opening five minutes.
Maximilion Helgeson scored the first goal of the second period with a one-timer on the powerplay. Derek Hamelin and Brett Bamber assisted on the Seawolf goal. Helgeson and Hamelin are tied for the team lead with four points apiece, while Bamber is tied for second with three.
Colorado College scored twice on the powerplay in the second period to complete the scoring.
The Tigers finished 2-for-7 on the man-advantage, and the Seawolves were 1-for-2. Faceoffs finished in CC's favor 42-21.
Nolan Kent (0-2-0) finished with 33 saves for UAA.
UAA will host UNLV Oct. 14 and 15.
