ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Chase Dubois scored the lone goal for the University of Alaska Fairbanks to defeat the University of Alaska Anchorage 1-0 in the fourth game of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Saturday.
The game was riddled with penalties with the two teams whistled for a combined 10.
The Nanooks scored just seconds after their powerplay expired with some quick passes in front of the UAA goal. Payton Matsui and Anton Rubstov set up Chase Dubois for his third goal of the season on the doorstep at 15:03 of the third period.
Nolan Kent finished with 29 saves on 30 shots as the Seawolves were out-shot 30-17.
Alaska Anchorage will return from the holiday break with a two-game series at UMass-Lowell Dec. 30-31.
