ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – The University of Alaska Anchorage hockey team completed the weekend sweep of Simon Fraser with a 4-0 win Saturday.
The Seawolves had nine different players record a point.
Brandon Lajoie put the Seawolves on the scoreboard first with a short-handed goal at 8:21 of the opening period.
After a scoreless second period, the Seawolves scored three goals in the third period.
Carson Kosobud fired a shot from the boards that found the net at 1:28.
Conor Cole found the net at 5:21, and Brett Bamber scored the second short-handed goal of the night at 9:32.
Dylan Finlay finished with two assists.
Joey Lamoreaux made 19 saves to earn the shutout for UAA.
Both UAA (0-for-4) and SFU (0-for-5) were scoreless on the powerplay.
UAA out shot SFU 30-19.
Alaska Anchorage will travel to Alaska Fairbanks for the first of six games in the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Dec. 9-10.
