CALIFORNIA DREAMIN': After hosting their first home meets in over 700 days last week, the Alaska Anchorage gymnastics team returns to the road for quad meets at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation rivals Sacramento State (Fri., 6 pm AST) and UC Davis (Sun., 1 pm AST) ... UAA will get a look at their other two MPSF foes as well, with San Jose State participating Friday and Air Force on Sunday.
 
SEAWOLVES TAKE OUT LADIES: The Seawolves claimed their first two dual victories of the season last week, defeating Centenary 188.825-187.500 on Friday and 191.500-187.125 on Sunday at the Alaska Airlines Center ... in the first meet, Jr. Rachel Decious earned top honors on beam and floor and the Seawolves swept the top three spots on both beam and uneven bars ... Fr. Alyssa Manley earned her first career event victory with a 9.8 on bars, Fr. Jessica Johnson placed runner-up with a 9.75, and Sr. Kylie Reese made it a podium sweep with a 9.625 ... the Seawolves took control on beam as Decious produced a career-high 9.875 – tying the 9th-best beam mark in program history – and Johnson and Fr. Shannon Farrell tied for second with 9.825s ... Manley produced UAA's best vault of the night with a 9.55 ... in the rematch, the Seawolves' 48.650 bars total equaled the 7th-best score in program history on that apparatus, with Manley's 9.85 and Decious's 9.825 leading the way; Manley's score tied the 7th-best individual mark in program history, while Decious produced her career high ... Reese and Johnson tied for third on bars with 9.7s, and UAA took the top two spots on beam with a 9.775 from Decious and a 9.75 from Johnson ... the Seawolves finished strong on floor behind a 9.8 from Johnson and runner-up 9.75s from Decious and Manley, and Manley led UAA with a career-high 9.575 on vault.
 
SEAWOLF SUPERLATIVES: UAA has produced program top-20 bars totals in two of its last four meets, with the 48.650 against Centenary tying the 7th-best mark and the 48.450 at Air Force equalling the 17th-best mark ... the 48.675 on floor at Air Force meet tied the 11th-best Seawolf total on that apparatus ... Fr. Alyssa Manley made her collegiate debut Jan. 28 by tying the 15th-best bars score in program history with a 9.825 at Air Force, and she bettered that with a 9.85 against Centenary last week ... Manley has earned a 9.675 or better on all six of her bars routines ... the most experienced Seawolf, Jr. Rachel Decious earned the first three event victories of her career last week, producing career highs on both beam (9.875) and bars (9.825) ... the Arizona native also owns UAA's best average on floor this season at 9.631 ... Fr. Jessica Johnson ranks among UAA's top three on each of her events, leading the way with a 9.717 average on beam, along with 9.667 on bars and 9.605 on floor ... Johnson owns UAA's season high on floor with a 9.825 at Air Force ...  UAA has had just four total all-around performances from two athletes this season, with Sr. Kylie Reese scoring a 38.075 in her first career effort Jan. 30, and Manley tallying a 38.000 at Pitt ... a transfer from Seattle Pacific, Reese has improved or tied her career highs on three of the four apparatus in her brief Seawolf career, including a 9.7 on bars last week.
