TEMPE, ARIZ. – TJ Semptimphelter made 19 saves to lead No. 14 Arizona State to a 3-0 win over Alaska Anchorage Sunday.
Ryan Alexander opened the scoring for the Sun Devils with a low shot past the glove of UAA goalie Greg Ososz at 5:20 of the first period.
Dylan Jackson tapped in a rebound from a shot by Matthew Kopperud at 15:14 of the second period. Lukas Sillinger picked up an assist on the power-play goal.
Brandon Tabakin completed the scoring with an empty-net goal at 17:01.
The Sun Devils out-shot the Seawolves 34-19, and UAA won the faceoff battle 36-29.
Greg Ososz finished with 31 saves for Alaska Anchorage.
UAA was 0-for-1 on the poweplay and ASU was 1-for-4.
The last time Alaska Anchorage was shutout was March 3, 2023 by Arizona State.
Alaska Anchorage will play at Wisconsin Nov. 24-25.
