ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Alaska Fairbanks scored three power-play goals in a 5-0 win over Alaska Anchorage in the third game of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Friday.
Brady Risk scored one goal and two assists, and Arvils Bergmanis tallied three assists.
The Nanooks finished 3-for-5 on the powerplay and held the Seawolves scoreless on all four of their power-play opportunities. The two teams combined for 43 penalty minutes.
UAF out-shot UAA 23-14, and Jared Whale finished with 18 saves for UAA.
UAA and UAF will close out the weekend series Saturday.
