Alaska Anchorage will host Alaska Fairbanks in the first two games of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Nov. 15-16 at the Avis Alaska Sports Complex.

Alaska Anchorage leads the all-time series against Alaska Fairbanks 92-77-13 and leads the series in Anchorage 52-32-7. 

Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup
The Alaska Airline's Governor's Cup started in 1993 with the Seawolves winning the year;y competition between the two schools eight times.  

Coach Shasby
Head coach Matt Shasby enters his third season leading the Seawolves. The Anchorage, native has a 24-42-3 mark as the UAA bench boss. Shasby will be assisted this season by Chris Kamal, Aaron McPheters and Vincent Pietrangelo. 

First Goal
Senior Tanner Edwards scored his first goal of the season in a 2-1 loss to No. 9 Colorado College on Oct. 25th. The Anchorage, native leads the team with four points (one goal, three assists) this season. 

First Point
Junior Connor Cole tallied his first point of the season with an assist on Tanner Edward's goal against CC. The native of St. John's, New Foundland has scored one goal and eight assists in 49 career games for UAA. 

Score First
UAA is 1-0-0 this season when they score first and 0-7-0 when their opponent scores first. 

Third Period
UAA has more goals in the third period (nine) than the first and second periods combined (four). 

Last Time Out
Alaska Anchorage dropped a pair of games at home to Colorado College Oct. 25-26.
