ANCHORAGE (Nov. 23) – Junior guard
Hasaan Herrington led five Alaska Anchorage players in double figures with 13 points Saturday, aiding a 93-30 men's basketball victory over Portland Bible at the Alaska Airlines Center.
The Seawolves (3-5) also got 11 points from junior guard
Tyler Burraston as they broke the 39-year-old school record for field-goal percentage, making 42 of 58 (.724) shots.
The Arrows (0-5) were led by 12 points and seven rebounds from forward Trevor Vermillion.
Bishop Tosi,
Sean Evans and
Sloan Lentfer all tallied 10 points apiece for UAA, which equaled the second-fewest points allowed and the 10th-largest margin of victory in program history as well.
Malik Jackson and
Jesse Stines had eight points apiece, while Herrington added career highs of seven assists and four steals.
