HANOVER, NH – Alaska Anchorage had eight different players record a point in a 5-4 loss at No. 17 Dartmouth Saturday.
Ryan Johnson led the Seawolves with one goal and one assist.
The Seawolves scored the first goal of the game six seconds after a Dartmouth goal was waved off for offsides. Dylan Contreras sent a centering pass to Dimitry Kebreau who scored his fifth goal of the season at 4:28 of the first period.
The Big Green tied the game at 1-1 a minute later when Nikita Nikora scored off the faceoff.
Jarred White gave the Seawolves a 2-1 lead at the first intermission after he scored his first goal of the season at 14:57. White fired a shot off the back of Dartmouth goalie Emmett Croteau that bounced into the goal.
Cooper Flinton evened the scored at 2-2 when he fired a wrist shot into the corner of the net at 4:11 of the second period.
Conor Cole put the Seawolves up 3-2 with a shot through the five-hole at 6:15.
Cam Macdonald evened the score at 3-3 with the second goal of the period for the Big Green at 7:53.
Dartmouth took its first lead of the game after Braiden Dorfman scored at 1:40 of the third.
Hayden Stavroff pushed the Dartmouth lead to 5-3 with his goal at 13:47.
Ryan Johnson redirected a long shot by Gunnar VanDamme at 16:17 to conclude the scoring for UAA. The goal was the ninth of the season for Johnson, most on the team.
Shots were nearly even with Dartmouth leading 21-20, and the two teams were scoreless on the powerplay (0-4).
Greg Orosz finished with 16 saves for UAA.
Alaska Anchorage will face Northeastern Sunday.
