Nash, Caleb headed to NCAA National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Joshua Caleb and Cole Nash from the University of Alaska Anchorage each qualified for the NCAA II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.

Nash, a junior from Littleton, Colo., will be competing in the 5,000. This will be his second appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships after he finished eighth in the 5,000 and 13th in the 10,000 in 2022. He ran a personal-best time of 13:55.71 at the Stanford Invite in March and won the 5,000 at the GNAC Championships in May.

Caleb, a freshman from Okrika, Nigeria, will be making his first trip to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships where he will compete in the 400. He ran a school-record time of 46.73 in April. He set school records in the 100 (10.28) and 200 (21.04) and won the 100 at the GNAC Championships.

The NCAA National Championships will be hosted in Emporia, Kansas May 23-25.
