NEW ORLEANS – The University of Alaska Anchorage had seven track & field student athletes earn USTFCCCA All-West Region honors.

John Peckham earned his sixth career all-west region honor with a time of 8:55.44 in the steeplechase.

Liv Heite earned her fifth career all-west region honor after running 13.81 in the 100 hurdles.

Vivien Liessfeld earned all-west region honors in the long jump (6.16/20-2.5) and heptathlon (4,999 points). She has earned four career all-west region honors.

Jessica Chisar earned all-west region honors in the 800 for the third time in her career after running 2:07.95.

Ty Elliott earned his third career all-west region honor after running 14:08.40 in the 5,000.

Anders Larsen earned all-west region honors for the third time in his career after scoring 6,969 points in the decathlon.

Charlie Hulbert earned all-west region honors for the second time in his career after running 3:47.77 in the 1,500.

The top-five individuals in each event and the top-three relays from each region earned all-region distinction.
