EMPORIA, KANSAS – Cole Nash of the University of Alaska Anchorage finished 16^th in the 5,000 at the NCAA Div. II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships Saturday.

The race started slow with the group bunched together for the first 3,000 meters before William Amponsah of West Texas pushed the pace and strung out the field. Nash would finish in a time of 15:12.94.
