ANCHORAGE (Jan. 18) – Junior guard

The Nanooks (9-7, 5-2) were led by 16 points apiece from guards Isaiah Saams-Hoy and Jalal O'Keith as they outrebounded the hosts 37-26 and finished the game on a 27-6 run.
Looking to avenge last year's home setback to their oldest rivals, the Seawolves took control midway through the first half, breaking a 21-21 tie on back-to-back baskets by Tosi. UAA extended its halftime advantage to 41-32 when

Entering the game with a GNAC-best 3.4 three-pointers per game, Burraston knocked down his seventh and final trey to push UAA's lead to 68-49 at the 11:42 mark, however the momentum would end there.

UAA would not score another field goal, getting its final two points on free throws by Tosi, while UAF finally drew even at 73-73 on a layup by Paul Johnson with 1:49 remaining.
Tosi's final free throw gave the Seawolves a 74-73 lead, but Johnson provided the eventual game-winning trey to answer with 71 seconds left.
After committing a turnover with 40 seconds left, the Seawolves gained another chance when Chris Lee missed the front end of a one-and-one with 4.6 seconds remaining, racing the ball to midcourt with 1.4 on the clock and calling timeout. Burraston got a good look with time expiring, but his shot bounced off the rim.
Burraston finished 7 of 14 from long range in a team-season-high 38 minutes, 28 seconds, while Tosi shot 5 of 8 from the field and 6 of 10 at the foul stripe. Evans finished with 10 points, six assists and two steals, and
Zach Ibbetson and
Sloan Lentfer combined for nine points on 4-of-4 shooting off the bench.
