Allen named honorable mention All-American

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 11) – Alaska Anchorage senior Tia Allen added final award to her impressive 2025 season this week, being named honorable mention All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

A 5-11 outside hitter, Allen was also named a second-team All-West Region choice by the College Sports Communicators and honorable mention all-region by the AVCA earlier this month.

The Clayton, Wash., native was a unanimous First Team All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference choice after helping the Seawolves to a 23-6 record, a share of the GNAC title and an NCAA Tournament berth. She produced 17 double-doubles and GNAC top-15 ranks in kills (9th, 3.20 kps), points (9th, 3.65 pps) and digs (14th, 3.31 dps), while also leading the Seawolves in reception percentage at .955. With career totals of 1,226 kills, 1,237 digs and 109 aces, the Saint Martin's transfer became just the second player in 25 years of GNAC history to surpass 1200/1200/100 figures in all three categories.
