Alaska Anchorage will head to the east coast this week for its final road trip of the season for one game at UConn and two games at Long Island.
Series
Alaska Anchorage leads the all-time series against UConn 6-2-0 and leads 2-1-0 in Connecticut. The Huskies defeated the Seawolves 4-3 in overtime last season.
UAA leads the all-time series with LIU 3-2-0, and is 2-1-0 against the Sharks in New York. UAA and LIU split their two-games series last season in Anchorage.
Coach Shasby
Head coach
Matt Shasby enters his third season leading the Seawolves. The Anchorage, native has a 28-55-8 mark as the UAA bench boss. Shasby will be assisted this season by

Vincent Pietrangelo.
Point Streak
Junior Max Helgeson and freshman
Ryan Johnson are each riding point streaks for the Seawolves.
Helgeson scored at UAF on Feb. 1 and followed up with an assist on all three UAA goals at UAF on Feb. 8. He has recorded at least one point in seven of his last nine games. He is tied for third on the team with 15 points.
Johnson has scored two goals and four assists during his five-game point streak that started at Niagara on Jan. 11. He leads the team with 11 goals and ranks second on the team in points with 19.
Two Goals
Junior
Dylan Finlay scored the first two goals for UAA in its 3-3 tie at UAF last week. The native of L'lle-Bizard, Quebec has scored four goals and six assists for 10 points this season.
Saturday Success
Alaska Anchorage is 5-7-4 on Saturday's and 1-12-1 on any other day of the week this season.
Road Warriors
The Seawolves have a 4-11-2 road record and a 1-7-3 mark at home this season.
Second Period Lead
UAA is 5-4-4 when leading or tied after the second period and 0-14-1 when trailing after the second period.
Last Time Out
UAA and UAF skated to a 3-3 tie last Saturday with the Nanooks winning the shootout to win the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup.
Looking Ahead
Alaska Anchorage will host Lindenwood in the final series of the season Feb. 21-22.
