ST. CHARLES, MO. – Karter McNarland scored a hat trick to lead Alaska Anchorage to a 5-4 win at Lindenwood Friday.
The hat trick was the first by a Seawolf since March 2, 2024 when Ben Almquist and Max Helgeson both recorded hat-tricks against Stonehill.
The Lions scored a pair of goals at 13:05 and 15:54 to lead 2-0 after the first.
Karter McNarland got the Seawolves on the board with his first goal off a rebound by Jacob Terpstra at 8:05 of the second period.
Adam Parsons tied the game at 2-2 when he scored between his legs with his back to the goal at 10:37. The goal was his first of the season and the second of his career.
Karter McNarland completed the hat trick with goals at 4:36 and 5:43 of the third period. He redirected a shot by Camden Shasby for this second goal and tapped in a shot near the post on the powerplay for his third goal.
Olivier Houde scored for Lindenwood at 8:05, but Ryan Johnson responded with his third-goal of the season at 9:29.
Olivier Houde scored his second goal of the game 6-on-4 at 19:17 to conclude the scoring.
UAA had 10 different players record a point with Judah Makway finishing with two assists for his second multi-point game of the season.
Lindenwood lead in shots 38-29. UAA finished 1-for-4 on the powerplay, LU was 1-for-3.
Tyler Krivtsov made 34 saves for UAA.
Alaska Anchorage and Lindenwood will close out the season series Saturday.
