MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. – Connor Androlewicz made 23 saves for Stonehill in a 3-0 win over Alaska Anchorage in the United Collegiate Hockey Cup Thursday.
Justin Mexico fired a shot on goal that was stopped by UAA goalie Tyler Krivtsov, but Brady Hunter scored on the rebound at 15:56 of the second period.
Anthony Galante sent a centering pass from behind the goal to Leo Chambers who scored his second goal of the season at 11:04 of the second period.
Cole Melady capped the scoring for Stonehill with an empty-net goal at 17:40 of the third.
Tyler Krivtsov finished with 27 saves for UAA.
Stonehill outshot Alaska Anchorage 30-23. The Seawolves finished 0-for-2 on the powerplay, and held the Skyhawks 0-for-4.
Alaska Anchorage will face Long Island Friday at noon.
