LAIE, Hawaii (Oct. 28) - Three players scored in double-figure kills for winning Brigham Young-Hawaii as the Seasiders beat the University of Alaska Anchorage volleyball team 16-14, 15-4, 15-10 at the Cannon Activity Center tonight.
Senior outside hitter Vanessa Tsukano had eight kills and 10 digs for UAA (12-18, 8-6 Pac West), while freshman Kasey Kuelper had 10 digs for the second straight match. Kapu Elkington led the No. 7-ranked Seasiders (13-5, 9-2).
It was the final conference match of the season for the Seawolves, who have never defeated the Seasiders in four tries.
The Seawolves complete their season this week with a pair of non-conference matches against St. Edward's (Texas) at the Sports Center Wednesday and Saturday. Both matches begin at 7:05 p.m. AST.
