PHOENIX, Ariz. (Aug. 30) - The Seawolf volleyball team finished its run at the Canyon Court Classic today with a 3-2 victory over host Grand Canyon.

Seawolves Mindy Cason and Kasey Kuelper were both chosen to the seven-player all-tournament team. Cason's hot hand supplied UAA with 18 kills on just 31 attempts in the victory, while Kuelper dished 59 assists.

Other big contributors in the win were Katina Ozrelic (10 kills, .643 att. pct.), Michelle Garvin (17 kills, .469) and O'Lita McWilliams (14 kills). Senior Starr Burgan had a career-high three solo blocks.

The Seawolves (2-2) hit .395 as a team with 83 kills, while holding the Antelopes (0-4) to .269 hitting and 67 kills.

The Seawolves next hit the court when they host the UAA Invitational Sept. 4-6 at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex. Thursday's first match starts at 5 p.m.
