ANCHORAGE (Jan. 21) - Dominique Ingram won the all-around and Jessica Portlock registered an impressive score on bars as the UAA gymnastics team kicked off its home season with a 188.625-140.300 victory over Winona State at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex tonight.
Ingram posted winning scores of 9.75 on floor and 9.7 on vault on her way to a 37.975 all-around, as UAA evened its dual record at 2-2.
Portlock, a freshman from Anchorage, placed first on balance beam with a 9.625, and also won on bars with a 9.725, the 10th-best score in school history.
Senior Mandy Kolosovsky was second on vault with a 9.575, and her 9.325 bars routine equaled her career-high.
The Warriors (0-7), of Winona, Minn., were competing with just four gymnasts.
The Seawolves and Warriors will meet again Saturday at the Sports Complex at 7:05 p.m.
