Tobin Karlberg led six Alaska Anchorage players in double figures with 21 points Saturday as the Seawolves cruised to a 106-44 men's basketball victory over Lincoln Christian at the Alaska Airlines Center.
The Seawolves (3-2) also got 13 points and 10 rebounds from senior center
Oggie Pantovic, 14 points and nine rebounds from senior forward
Hunter Sweet, and 14 points and 11 assists from senior point guard
David Rowlands in the victory.
The Red Lions (2-7) were led by eight points apiece from Janssen Flotow and Eddie Ambrose as the NAIA club from Illinois was outshot 60 percent to 30 percent and outrebounded 42-22.
"I thought we were much crisper offensively, and our defensive effort was very solid," said UAA head coach
Rusty Osborne, whose team earned an 83-53 win over the same team on Friday. "We got a lot of playing time for some of our new guys, and that should help boost their confidence going forward."
Tied 10-10 after five minutes, the Seawolves pulled away with a 10-2 run that featured a three-pointer from
Keegan Crosby and five points from Karlberg, who shot 7 of 13 overall and 5 of 10 from long range.
UAA stretched its halftime advantage to 50-27 and continued to pull away in the second half.
The Seawolves also got big performances from starting forward
Keegan Crosby, who had a career highs of 10 points (3-4 3FG), eight rebounds and seven assists without a turnover, and reserve guard
Caleb Larsen, who tallied 15 points on 5-of-8 three-point shooting.
Pantovic earned his first double-double of the season and the 10th of his career, to go with three assists and a pair of blocks.

Evan Hoosier all collected their first career field goals in a Seawolf uniform.
