BEIJING, CHINA – University of Alaska Anchorage alum Mat Robinson scored the first goal for Canada in a 4-2 loss to the United States in group play at the Beijing Olympics.

Robinson, a native of Calgary, opened the scoring at 1:24 of the first period.

He finished +2 in Canada's 5-1 win over Germany on Feb. 10^th.

Canada will face China Feb. 13^th.
