Alyssa Manley posted a 38.000 score in her first career all-around performance and the Alaska Anchorage gymnastics team finished with a strong effort on balance beam to score a 191.250 team total at the Pitt quad meet Sunday at Fitzgerald Field House.
The Seawolves finished last in the team standings behind West Virginia (195.925), host Pittsburgh (195.800) and North Carolina State (194.550).
UAA earned a season-high 48.375 total on balance beam as freshman
Jessica Johnson and
Shannon Farrell earned 9.85s, tying the 14th-best score in program history. Freshman
Montana Fairbairn flipped to a 9.775 and sophomore
Mackenzie Robinson equaled her career high with a 9.65 on beam.
A freshman from Albuquerque, N.M., Manley led UAA's effort on uneven bars with a 9.675, and had the team's second-best score on floor exercise at 9.6.

Allie McClure led the Seawolves on vault with a 9.725, along with a 9.55 from freshman
Brooklyn Kopsack.
The Seawolves return to Anchorage for their home debuts next weekend, facing Centenary in the main gymnasium at the Alaska Airlines Center on Friday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (2:30 p.m.).
