Alaska Anchorage will return to the ice with a pair of exhibition games this week. Alaska Anchorage will host Simon Fraser Friday at 7:07 pm and will hold an intrasquad game Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. Both games will be played at the Seawolf Sports Complex on the campus of Alaska Anchorage.
Welcome Back
Friday's game will be the first collegiate hockey game that UAA has played since March 7th, 2020, a span of 930 days.

Friday's game marks the fourth time that Alaska Anchorage and Simon Fraser will face each other in an exhibition game. The Seawolves have won the previous three meetings against the Red Leafs.

Head Coach Matt Shasby
UAA head coach
Matt Shasby will be making his collegiate coaching debut this weekend. Shasby, a native of Eagle River, Alaska, was a four-year defenseman for the Seawolves recording 65 points (12 goals, 53 assists) from 1999 to 2003.

Alaska Anchorage last played a hockey game on March 7th, 2020. Minnesota State defeated Alaska Anchorage 4-2 in the WCHA Playoffs.
