Matt Shasby enters his fourth season leading the Seawolves. The Anchorage, native has a 30-64-8 mark as the UAA bench boss.

Joey Potter was named the Independent Program's Defender of the Month after a career-high three-point night in UAA's 4-3 overtime win at No. 6 Denver. The native of Cranberry Township, Pa., scored two goals and assisted on the game-winning goal by
Dimitry Kebreau. Potter has 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 44 career games.
The last time a Seawolf scored two goals in a game was
Karter McNarland vs Lindenwood on Feb. 21, 2015. The last time a Seawolf recorded three points in a game was Max Helgeson (three assists) at Lake Superior State on Feb. 8, 2025.
First Win
Sophomore
Tyler Krivtsov earned his second career win in the overtime win at No. 6 DU. The Santa Clarita, Calif., native made 46 saves in the win. He has a 3.39 goals against average and an .887 save percentage in 21 career games.
Beating the Best
Alaska Anchorage's win at No. 6 at Denver was the first for the Seawolves since they shut out #9 Providence 4-0 on Jan. 20, 2024.
Streak Ends
Junior
Karter McNarland extended his point streak to three games with an assist on
Joey Potter's second goal in the win at No. 6 Denver, before the streak came to an end the following night against the Pioneers. The native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan leads the team in both assists (four) and points (four).
Special Teams
UAA is 1-2-0 this season when it scores on the powerplay and 0-3-0 when it doesn't. The Seawolves are 1-1-0 when it holds its opponents scoreless on the powerplay and 0-4-0 when its opponents score on the man-advantage.
