SPOKANE, WASH. – University of Alaska Anchorage sophomore Joshua Caleb returned to his record setting ways running a record time of 20.82 in the 200 at the Riverfront Invitational in Spokane Friday.
The run was an NCAA D2 National Leader, seventh all-time in Div. II, seventh all-time in Nigerian history (200m track), second in Nigerian and African U20 history and set GNAC and UAA school records.
Marc Mercier finished second in the long jump in 23-1.75/7.05, and Morgan Grant was 14th with a leap of 20-11.75/6.39.
Viven Liessfeld and Mya Campbell each jumped 4-10.25/1.48 in the high jump, the 10th-best mark in school history.
Other finishes in the 200 for the Seawolves included, Liv Heite (25.90), Brian Morris (22.54) and Riday Jana (22.74).
The Riverfront Invitational continues in Spokane Saturday.
