ANCHORAGE (Aug. 21) – The Alaska Anchorage men's basketball team will take the Alaska Airlines Center court 18 times in 2025-26, including its regular nine-game Great Northwest Athletic Conference slate.
The season begins Nov. 1-2 with a trip to the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Lakeland, Fla., where the Seawolves are set to face 2025 NCAA Tournament clubs Florida Southern and Daemen.
The home season kicks off with a special 11 a.m. start time Nov. 7 against Evergreen State in the Slam Dunk Into Higher Ed game, welcoming thousands of Anchorage School District fifth graders.
A busy November sees the Seawolves host four key NCAA West Region contests, beginning Nov. 15-16 against Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade in the Alaska/Hawaii Challenge, presented by Alaska Airlines. After games Nov. 22-23 against NAIA foe Northwest University, UAA hosts Cal Poly Humboldt on Nov. 28 and Westmont on Nov. 29 in the Coca-Cola Tundra Tip-Off.
The 18-game Great Northwest Athletic Conference schedule starts Dec. 4 at Saint Martin's and Dec. 6 at Western Oregon, before the non-conference road schedule ends with a trip to Div. I foe Denver on Dec. 11.
The GNAC home slate opens Jan. 1 against Simon Fraser and Jan. 3 against Western Washington, and continues Jan. 22 and Jan. 24 against traditional rivals Seattle Pacific and Montana State Billings.
UAA finishes with five home games in February, including a Valentine's Day showdown with Alaska Fairbanks and 'senior night' Feb. 28 against Saint Martin's.
The GNAC Championships will be Mar. 5-7 in Bellingham, Wash., with the NCAA West Regional Championships set for a to-be-determined site Mar. 13-16.
