Alaska Anchorage leads the all-time series with Alaska Fairbanks 94-82-16, and has a 54-34-8 mark against the Nanooks in Anchorage. UAA is 1-2-2 in its last five games against UAF.
Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup
Alaska Fairbanks has won the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup 17 times and Alaska Anchorage has won the Cup eight times since the Governor's Cup inception during the 1993 season. UAA last won the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup during the 2009-10 season. The winner of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup is determined by a point system with a team earning three points for a win in regulation, two points for a win in overtime or a shootout and one point for a loss in overtime or a shootout. UAF currently leads this year's series 8-4.

Matt Shasby enters his fourth season leading the Seawolves. The Anchorage, native has a 34-78-9 mark as the UAA bench boss.

Junior
Karter McNarland scored a hattrick in last week's win at Lindenwood. His hat trick was the first by a Seawolf since Ben Almquist and Max Helgeson both scored hattricks against Stonehill on March 2, 2024. McNarland leads the Seawolves in points this season with 16 (four goals, 12 assists).
Point Streak
Sophomore JP Steele is currently riding a four-game point streak, the longest by a Seawolf this season. The native of Franklin, Mich. has tallied an assist in each of his last four games and has four points on the season.
Multi-Points
Alaska Anchorage had three players record multi-point games at Lindenwood last week.
Karter McNarland scored a hattrick and
Judah Makway tallied a pair of assists in the win.
