FOREST GROVE, ORE. – The University of Alaska Anchorage won five events at the Pacific Open Saturday.
Avrey Campbell ran 1:04.08, the eight-fastest time in school history, to win the 400 hurdles. Gracie Miotke was second in 1:04.93.
Mya Campbell cleared 1.58/5-2.25 to win the high jump. The mark is tied for eighth-best all-time at UAA.
Tyler Drake won the long jump with a mark of 6.77/22-2.5 and finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 12.65/41-6.
The women's 4x100 relay of Vivien Liessfeld, Liv Heite, Avrey Campbell and Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias won in a time of 48.42.
The Seawolves ran a school-record in the mixed gender 4x400 relay. The team of Ethan Stiller, Liv Heite, Jarrett Jackson and Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias ran a time of 3:40.00. The team of Seth Cupper, Avrey Campbell, Tyler Drake and Gracie Miotke finished third in 3:47.50.
Anders Larsen finished second in the 110 hurdles running 15.09, the sixth-fastest time in school history. Tyler Drake was third in 15.27.
Liv Hiete and Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias finished second (14.28) and third (14.98) in the 100 hurdles. Sarrias turned the tables in the 200 finishing third (26.03) with Heite fourth (26.04).
Glory Olokpa ran 50.70 to finish third in the 400 and 22.59 to finish fifth in the 200.
Ethan Stiller finished fourth in the 200 (22.44).
Eric Bushnell finished third in the discus (44.66/146-6), and Vivien Liessfeld was third in the shot put (10.82/35-6).
Sarah Dittman and Vivien Liessfeld tied for fourth (1.48/4-10.25) in the women's high jump, and Anders Larsen cleared 1.77/5-9.75 to finish fifth in the men's high jump.
UAA will compete at the Brutus Hamilton Invite, the Stanford Invite and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in the Bay Area next week.
