ANCHORAGE ? Led by a career-high 30 points from senior center Jeremiah Trueman, the Alaska Anchorage men's basketball team cruised to an 89-52 victory over visiting Lincoln Christian on Friday night at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.

The Seawolves (5-7) also got 18 points from Kevin White and an 11-point, 9-rebound, 6-assist showing from fellow sophomore guard Brandon Walker.

The Preachers (3-8), of Lincoln, Ill., and the National Christian College Athletic Association, were led by 24 points and nine rebounds from center Jon Wallace.

But while Wallace shot 9 of 15 from the floor, the rest of his teammates combined to make just 11 of 36 tries, while UAA connected on 53.8 percent (35 of 65) from the field.

The outcome was never in doubt as UAA raced to a 13-0 lead and took a 49-22 advantage into the locker room.

Trueman surpassed his previous career-high of 25 points with 13-of-19 shooting, adding six rebounds and a career-high four blocks. The 6-9 New Zealander also matched a personal-best effort with three assists.

Meanwhile, White was sharp from long range, drilling 6-of-11 three-pointers to go with three assists and three steals.

Sophomore guard Lonnie Ridgeway, junior guard Darren Nye and freshman forward Kyle Doerr tallied eight points apiece in the victory.

The Seawolves will play their final non-conference game of the season Saturday when they meet the Preachers for a 7:30 p.m. rematch at the WFSC.
