Anchorage men's and women's track & field teams were both selected to the U.S.
Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association 2010
Division II All‐Academic
Track & Field Team, announced on Tuesday.
The UAA women's squad
registered a cumulative team GPA of 3.19, while the men's team
recorded a 3.00 GPA. Altogether 67 women's teams and 34 men's teams earned
recognition.
The women's team from Incarnate Word posted the
nation's highest cumulative GPA through the 2010 term with a 3.64, while Slippery
Rock represented the men's side with the highest cumulative team GPA in the
nation at 3.58.
