BOZEMAN, MONT. – Cold temperatures brought an early end to the giant slalom races at the Montana State Invite Tuesday.
The women completed only one run while the men's race was cancelled.
Ainsley Proffit was the top Seawolf finisher placing 10th in 50.80.
Ashleigh Alexander was one spot behind in 51.12.
Alyssa Hill finished 14th (51.69), and Carmen Nielssen was 27th (55.32).
Kaja Norbye of Utah won the race in 49.05.
Australian Tuva Bygrave finished 34th in the women's 20-kilometer classic race at the U23 World Championships in Whistler, B.C.
She crossed the line in a time of 1:08:04.8, 6:24 behind race winner Kristin Fosnaes of Norway.
"Tuva skied well today, looking at the time back from the strong Utah skiers Sydney Palmer-Leger and Novie McCabe she is much closer now than she was earlier in January. I'm excited to see what she can do in the 10km and the relay," said associate head coach Trond Flagstad.
