Kevin Angarita ran a school-record time of 48.21 to finish second in the 400. The time ranks fourth all-time in GNAC history and 32nd in Div. II. He followed up with a time of 21.94 in the 200, third all-time at UAA, to finish eighth.

"Starting in the fall, we have been working hard, even training through the first few meets," said associate head coach Ray Shadowens. "It was time to let them loose, and from top to bottom, the team responded. We had some athletes make their debut, and a few event debuts, which is always exciting. That combined with those who have been grinding resulted in countless personal best, the UAA all-time top 10 list is being rewrote, and then to have three school records go down in one day. I'd say we are clicking at the right time. This is the most excited I've been heading into a GNAC championship since I arrived."

Anders Larsen finished fourth in his first career heptathlon with a score of 4,602 points, fourth-best performance in school history.

Mikayla Mader cleared 4-11.75, seventh-best all-time at UAA, to finish 14th.
