PORTLAND, Ore. (Oct. 23) – Ready to embark on its season-opening road trip, the Alaska Anchorage men's basketball team received its first individual honor of 2025-26 Thursday, putting senior Bishop Tosi on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference Team.

A 6-6 post, Tosi was an honorable mention All-GNAC performer in his first full campaign with the Seawolves, averaging 12.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists. The former Bartlett High star and Bellevue (Wash.) College transfer ranked fifth in the league with a .563 field-goal percentage as a junior, along with 12th in rebounding and 22nd in scoring. He also posted four double-doubles and was named GNAC Player of the Week for his efforts on the opening week of 2024-25 league play.

Tosi is among 15 honorees on the annual preseason list, set to lead a squad that was picked sixth in the league's preseason coaches' poll.

"Bishop is very deserving of this honor," said UAA coach Rusty Osborne. "We are looking forward to him taking another step forward this season. Bish has worked hard this offseason individually, and he has been a tremendous leader for our team so far in the preseason. Now that he has a fully healthy offseason behind him, Bishop is poised for a special year."
